Toni and Florin had been to France many times, and in September 2004 realised their dream of moving there and making it their home. They both immediately fell in love with the town of St. Benoît-du-Sault, and they moved to the area in September 2005.
Toni, who is Irish, has always dreamed of owning her own restaurant. She is a self-taught cook but my, can she tickle your taste buds (please see our sample menu). Toni's life-long passion with food is well known among her family and friends alike. The dining will be informal and relaxed. The gourmet food served will be fresh, locally-grown produce wherever possible. We can also make provision for those with special dietary requirements with advance notice.
Florin has many years experience in the spa and beauty business. He is a very skilled and qualified masseuse, chiropractor and reflexologist. Florin, who is from Romania also specialises in reiki and did his reiki training with monks in the Romanian monasteries. His healing power is quite astonishing; he is indeed very gifted.
For those who are interested in golf, an eighteen-hole course is situated in the proximity of Châteauroux, just half an hour away. Alternatively, a mini-golf course and a five-hole practice course can be found 15 minutes away to the north of the pretty town of Belâbre.
The quaint, historic town of Gargilesse Dampierre is just 15 minutes away. This too is one of the most beautiful towns in France, and was home to the renowned writer, Georges Sand. The bustling market town of Crozant is situated on the river Creuse, and boasts a medieval castle. Crozant is a very picturesque town, and has plenty of activities for those who want to spend a leisurely day sightseeing or shopping.
Approximately 1 hour from the Spa, you can discover the world-famous wine-producing town of Sancerre, right in the heart of the Loire Valley. The 'Garden Of France' boasts a range of exquisite wines, unblemished rolling valleys & woodland dotted with remarkable chateaux to entice you to visit the region. Within 20 kilometres of St. Benoît Spa you will find the Brenne Regional Park; the land of a thousand lakes. It is a beautiful area, ideal for gentle country strolls, watching the wildlife and simply relaxing.
